These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ballast Provisions LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("Ballast," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of ballastprovisions.com (the "Site"), and your purchase of any products offered by Ballast ("Products").
By accessing or using the Site, joining our waitlist, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase Products or create an account. The Site is not directed to children under 13.
We attempt to describe our Products as accurately as possible. Because our Products are small-batch and handcrafted, minor variations in color, texture, scent, and weight between batches are normal and expected, and do not constitute a defect. We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit availability of any Product without prior notice.
Our Products are cosmetics and are not drugs. Statements regarding our Products have not been evaluated by the FDA. Our Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Our Products contain animal-derived tallow and other natural ingredients, listed in full on each Product's packaging. Individuals with known allergies to any listed ingredient should not use the Product. We strongly recommend a two-week patch test before regular use: apply a small amount to a discreet area of skin and wait two weeks before using the Product more broadly. Discontinue use immediately and consult a physician if you experience irritation or any adverse reaction.
If you are pregnant, nursing, or have a known skin condition, we recommend consulting a physician before use.
If you experience an adverse reaction, discontinue use immediately and report it to us at still@ballastprovisions.com. As required under MoCRA, we maintain records of serious adverse events and report qualifying events to the FDA as legally required.
All orders are subject to our acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud or pricing errors. If an order is canceled after payment, we will issue a full refund.
Shipping regions and timelines will be published here once finalized.
Due to the personal-care nature of our Products, we cannot accept returns of opened or used Products for hygiene and safety reasons. All sales of opened or used Products are final. We will replace or refund a Product, at our discretion, if it arrived damaged in transit, is defective or contaminated, or if you received the wrong item due to our error. Contact us at still@ballastprovisions.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos where applicable.
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, product names, and label designs, is the property of Ballast Provisions LLC or its licensors. "Ballast™" is a trademark of Ballast Provisions LLC (U.S. trademark application filed).
If you submit a review, photo, or other content in connection with the Site, you grant Ballast a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that content in connection with our business. You represent that you own the rights to what you submit.
The Site and all Products are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ballast Provisions LLC's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product(s) giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Georgia.
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
